A blinding bright, freezing cold sunshine replaced yesterday's warmer snow filled cloudy day. The winter landscape is beautiful! Absolutely gorgeous. The deer were in the yard last night, chewing on the cedar trees. There are three of them...bunnies, too. It's fun to go outdoors in the morning to discover the tracks of who 'visited' during the night.

Is it still snowing?
ReplyDeleteOh Kim, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE send some of that snow down here to northeast TN!!! It's been waaaaay tooo long since we've had a snow, and I do so long for a good one!!! *nostalgic sigh*
ReplyDeleteOh those new 'grandbabies' of yours are ADORABLE!! Just look at those precious faces---they're so grateful to your DD (and so am I--can you tell I wear my heart on my sleeve, especially for those 4-legged critters :>)
Now that's the making of a good Christmas card cover. So pretty.
ReplyDeletelooks a lot like the view out my sewing room window, too.
ReplyDeleteit sure makes things feel more festive, doesn't it?
I am so jealous I can hardly stand it!!!!!! I WANT SNOW!!!!! It has been so long since we have received a snow storm like that. I sure miss it!!!
ReplyDeleteThere now I am done whining. Enjoy the beauty surrounding you.
What an absolutely beautiful setting. I wouldn't get any quilting done, I would sit and stare out of the window all day!!
ReplyDeleteI love the name of your blog. It brings to mind a feeling of peace and serenity.
I'm green with envy at your winter wonderland! You are so blessed!
ReplyDeleteOh so beautiful. I am so jealous...
ReplyDeleteSnow is so lovely to look at (and your photos are fabulous) but my heart sinks when I look out of my window in the morning and see snow. Well, I do if it's a work day, as I know that travelling wil be difficult and take longer, and since I'm a peripatetic teacher, I often find myself driving alone country lanes and byways which can be so treacherous in bad weather!
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty photos. The snow around here has gotten rather dirty so a fresh coat to make it nice and pretty again would be nice.
