D's Birthday Surprise

This is the Country Threads, Liberty Squares quilt kit that D purchased about a year ago while visiting Country Threads shop in Garner, Iowa. She had high hopes that I would actually turn that kit into a quilt! I surprised her with the finished quilt this week as a birthday surprise, but no one was more surprised that it was done than I was!

Baby Jack's Quilt

This quilt is my version of the Country Threads, Hayseed quilt. My daughter, Danielle asked me to make this for her friends, John and Stacey Ondrik. A gift to welcome their son, baby Jack to the family.

The quilt in progress. This layout was definitely a labor of love!

This is my daughter, Danielle (left) with Stacey and John.

Born earlier than expected, but Jack is growing (sorry Stacey, I know you want to keep him tiny) quickly into his happy baby boy personality and his quilt. He is so well loved!

Be Thankful

Bear Paws in the Blueberry Patch

This is my daughter, Allison. I made this quilt for Allie
when she was a young girl...several years ago! This is the first quilt that I made.
