It's winter in Minnesota
And the gentle breezes blow
Seventy miles an hour
At twenty-five below.

When the snow's up to your butt

I laughed through reading this to my sister. we grew up in MN and she still lives there...it's so true that it almost hurts. (not that SW wisconsin is any better.)

ReplyDeleteThat is quite funny!! I can relate to that from years ago when I lived in Winnipeg Manitoba and my hair would freeze in long strands - I remember so clearly how my nose would freeze shut!! We are watching the Vancouver Canucks play the Minnesota Wild as I write this.
