Hello everyone! I'm here at Stillmeadow, quietly stitching away. This is it for quilting activity right now!
I have spent all of my quilting time working here at the hand-quilting frame. Kay's quilt is coming along nicely.
The end is in sight. Should be able to add the binding by the end of next week. Then this old quilt is heading to the spa for a luxury bath in Synthrapol!

What a huge hand quilting frame, you can tell I'm not a hand quilter, can't you? Noticed your light, does it make a huge difference to what you're able to see?
ReplyDeleteOh by the way you need to check out today's post *s*
I guess the old quilt is waiting for the spa treatment :)
ReplyDeleteI love the act of hand quilting. It is just so relaxing and I can listen to books and not have the audio drowned out. Enjoy your time at the frame.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the win over at Linda's!
ReplyDeleteKeep quilting.
At first glance I thought you had a longarm set up. I have only hand quilted in a hoop and also did try a table frame but never have tried the traditional frame such as yours. I didn't like the table so it's in storage and since I got the longarm I no longer hand quilt although I miss it and think I'll find time to do it again.
ReplyDeleteKim, this quilt is going to be so beautiful! You are doing a fantastic job so keep up the good work and have a wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteRuth Ann
I’m dreaming of a future with time to quilt, space for a quiltframe to share with quilt-friends and of course some fabrics...
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog again!!
You are a fantastic, giving person to put all of the time it is taking to finish this. It is going to be a treasure for generations to come!!! I love your set up. I could come hang out in that room with you and have a great time!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely bright quilt and an amazing frame - what a lot of work has gone into it.
ReplyDeleteIt is really looking good, and congratulations on the end being in site. I hope it loves its bath!
ReplyDeleteI really like the quilt in the photo you use for your header.
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of quilting frame is in the picture?
I just love your blog. I, too, would live to know about the light and the quilt frame. Your quilt is beautiful.
