TOO OFTEN WE UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF A TOUCH, A SMILE, A KIND WORD, A LISTENING EAR, AN HONEST COMPLIMENT, OR THE SMALLEST ACT OF CARING, ALL OF WHICH HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO TURN A LIFE AROUND

Using Up The Stash of Life...

While it's good to take care of our health, it is also a very good thing to take care of living our life...

"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO, what a ride!" I read this at J's Quilting Blog. Gave me a chuckle and something to think about.

So far I have the chocolate part covered! Although I am having withdrawal pains cause I ran out of my favorite Aldi Chocolate months and months ago - Ute!

Thanks Joyce!

  3. I do well on the chocolate part but wine, unfortunately, gives me a headache.

  5. I don't do too much chocolate since it contains soy and I am highly sensitive to soy. Wine, OTOH...
