Sew Along Slow But Sure

See that bird up there?  She's gonna fly off if I don't sew her down pretty soon.  Progress is slow but there is progress!  I am ready to sew the applique' down.  It's all good and I'm enjoying the process.  You know how it is, a little bit of time here and there and pretty soon you have a quilt.

Happy stitching and quilting to all!

  3. A stitch a day, maybe three...maybe none...but slowly a quilt is made. Take your time and enjoy the times you do get to take a stitch.

  5. I found the perfect piece to use for my flag background yesterday. I made a quick trip to the LQS to get some fabric for the two birthday totes and I found two wonderful homespuns on the sale rack. One is just perfect for the flag. I am getting the fabrics all collected. At least, that is a start. :~)

  7. I made a special effort to visit your blog so I could see the progress on Midwest Pride. I got an answer to the question I asked in my e-mail about the appliques. Things are looking really good!

  9. The bird just makes this quilt sing!

Kim, I'm looking to see if you have one of those FOLLOWERS gadgets or widgets or whatever. I wanted to become a devotee. I noticed you were among mine a while back, but only today did I get the widget on my blog. And you seem to have vanished. Is it my breath? I know I had a little fresh garlic on my pizza at lunchtime.

  10. I'm back to announce you have an award over at my place. But I just noticed you have a thingie on your sidebar that says No Tag Awards. Guess I'll go take your name off the list.
