See that bird up there? She's gonna fly off if I don't sew her down pretty soon. Progress is slow but there is progress! I am ready to sew the applique' down. It's all good and I'm enjoying the process. You know how it is, a little bit of time here and there and pretty soon you have a quilt.
Happy stitching and quilting to all!

I bet that little birdie knows that it has a good home right where it is *s*
ReplyDeleteSlow and steady wins the race Kim,I can assure you!
ReplyDeleteA stitch a day, maybe three...maybe none...but slowly a quilt is made. Take your time and enjoy the times you do get to take a stitch.
ReplyDeleteThat's great progress...it will be done before you know it...great job!
ReplyDeleteI found the perfect piece to use for my flag background yesterday. I made a quick trip to the LQS to get some fabric for the two birthday totes and I found two wonderful homespuns on the sale rack. One is just perfect for the flag. I am getting the fabrics all collected. At least, that is a start. :~)
ReplyDeleteHi Kim :)
ReplyDeleteThat quilt is going to be darling and I love the bird :)

I made a special effort to visit your blog so I could see the progress on Midwest Pride. I got an answer to the question I asked in my e-mail about the appliques. Things are looking really good!
ReplyDeleteAs long there is a progress everything is fine :)
ReplyDeleteThe bird just makes this quilt sing!
ReplyDeleteKim, I'm looking to see if you have one of those FOLLOWERS gadgets or widgets or whatever. I wanted to become a devotee. I noticed you were among mine a while back, but only today did I get the widget on my blog. And you seem to have vanished. Is it my breath? I know I had a little fresh garlic on my pizza at lunchtime.
I'm back to announce you have an award over at my place. But I just noticed you have a thingie on your sidebar that says No Tag Awards. Guess I'll go take your name off the list.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are enjoying your quilting. Looks like a lot of applique? I sent a video link yesterday but I'm not sure it got to you.
ReplyDeleteI just discovered your blog. Just lovely with so many pretty quilts. Have fun sewing the bird on.
