TOO OFTEN WE UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF A TOUCH, A SMILE, A KIND WORD, A LISTENING EAR, AN HONEST COMPLIMENT, OR THE SMALLEST ACT OF CARING, ALL OF WHICH HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO TURN A LIFE AROUND

  3. So glad to hear that Tom is still improving and gaining some strength. It will probably take some time. I know many of us would bring you a meal if we could. Hang in there :-)

  6. I am feeling well enough to make it to the computer in the family area to read all these sweet and caring posts. Thanks to all of the readers of Kim's blog for your care and concern. I know she appreciates all the support that's been coming her way these past weeks. If my blood work comes together I may be ready to come home in a day or 2. I could probably leave today but for my blood thinner stabilization. I love you Kim, and I'll be home torturing you again before you know it.

  11. Things are sounding good. I know what you mean about the hyper vigilance...my hubby had a heart attack last year and I still find myself watching him when he is doing anything that is really strenuous and biting my toungue to keep from saying anything. A habit I just can't seem to shake off. It comes with loving someone and wanting them in your life. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.
