Volunteer Your Talent

My friend Carol brought Quilts For Kids to my attention today. Like Carol, I think this is a very worthwhile project ~ quilts that comfort sick kids. I ordered my kit tonight. Curious? Click on Quilts for Kids. If you aren't up for making a quilt there are other projects that you might like to help with. :-D

  1. Kim - this is such a wonderful organization. I just tried to order a kit but it wouldn't take my request. I'll have to try again later.

  3. They are a wonderful group. There is also a Yahoo group...I've sent them blocks when I haven't had time to do a top. They're very, very nice.

  4. I spotted this on another blog just before the holidays. I was glad Carol brought it back to my attention and I ordered a kit to do and hope to do an extra as well.

  5. Hi Kim :)
The Chix and I have made several of these quilts, matter of fact we just sent them another 4 yesterday. The kits are wonderful and QFK is a great organization to work with...I think you will really enjoy doing this.

  6. Thanks, Kim. What a great gesture. I also love doing for the shelters for animals that are abandoned.
